April 2010: The demo team performed at the Family Fun Festival at the
Belpre Civitan Park.
April 2010: Congratulations to Master Rick Lykins for obtaining the
rank of 7th degree black belt. Master Fred Tambling obtained the rank
of 6th degree black belt. Master Shaun Coleman passed his
examination to become a 5th degree black belt Master Instructor.
Anthony Franza tested for 2nd degree black belt and passed. Several
other black belts and gups successfully obtained their ranks.

Feb. 27, 2010: Jennifer Randolph won Grand Champion Forms at the
37th U.S. Open Martial Arts Championship
Feb. 27, 2010: Grand Master S. H. Kang will held his 37th U.S. Open
Martial Arts Championship
Feb. 20, 2010: Governor Wise Declared this Day as Tae Kwon Do Won
Day in 2004
Feb. 15, 2010: The Parkersburg Branch of S. H. Kang's Tae Kwon Do
Academy will be represented at the 3rd Annual Youth Expo held at the
Grand Central Mall. A display will be set up and there will be material
given out. Interested individuals ages 5-21 can sign up for one month
membership. This will be President's Day and children will be out of
school. Many area organizations will be in attendance. Attending
children can enter for a Grand Prize of a Nintendo DSI.
Feb. 8, 11, 16, 2010: There will be Tournament Seminars for those
interested in score keeping and time keeping at the tournament
Feb. 9, 2010: Taping for Web Video and Demonstration Team will take
place
Jan. 7, 2010: Grand Master Kang will held his 159th promotion
examination in Charleston, WV
Jan. 5, 2010: The belt pre-test and commitment test for black belts was
held at the Parkersburg school at 7:00 pm
Dec. 7, 2009: The Parkersburg Demo Team Performed at Barlow

Oct. 17, 2009: Grand Master Kang held the 158th promotion
examination in Charleston, WV
Oct. 15, 2009: The belt pre-test and commitment test for black belts
was held at the Parkersburg school at 7:00 pm
Sept. 12, 2009: The Parkersburg School had a booth at the Belpre
Merchant's Expo at Howe's Grove Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the
demo team are also performed
Aug. 22, 2009: The Parkersburg School students walked in the
Parkersburg Homecoming Parade. The parade had 90 different
organizations to participate. The event was a success and was
enjoyed by everyone.
July 30, 2009: The Fluders attended their last class at the Parkersburg
School before making their move to Tennessee. They have been and
incredible asset to the school and the association and will be missed
by all. Best of luck to them in all their future endeavors.
June 27, 2009: Natalie Scalise achieves the rank of 3rd Degree Black
Belt. Tim Cross is promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt. Several colored
belts passed their examinations as well. Congratulations to all.

promoted by Grandmaster Kang as well, to the rank of 2nd Degree
Black Belt. Several colored belts passed their examinations as well.
